In many Christian congregations in Germany the "Israel movement" ‒
Evangelical Christian Zionism, that is ‒ has acquired a footing. This is an organization
dedicated to the goal of effecting a so-called "aliyah" (the Hebrew word for repatriation), with
the help and financial support of members of the congregation, so as to bring Jews from Russia and
other nations to Israel. Here they are joining in a project founded by the American Steve Lightle
(of Seattle, Washington), who announced that he had received a vision from the Lord in 1974 about
the return of the Jews from the USSR. As biblical proofs, the preachers of this aliyah refer the
brethren to prophecies in the Old Testament where it is stated that the Jews will be brought to
Jerusalem by the Gentiles. If we take a closer look at these quotations, however, we can quickly see
that all these prophecies refer not to our own times but to the Millennial Kingdom of our Lord Jesus
Christ in the still distant future.
Ms. Hannelore Weitzel was involved with this movement for many years. Like other brethren and
sisters in the congregation, she believed in these preachers and was firmly convinced that what they
said was the will of God. Until one day certain inconsistencies in their interpretation of the Word
of God came to her attention, and she took the trouble to consult these prophecies in the Bible
herself. But as she writes in her own words:
"It wasn’t just a bare realization, as a result of the Word, that
happened on a particular day. It was a desperate struggle to get out of a confusion and a personal
agony involving major losses, all of which made me ask how I could have been so taken in, by fellow
human beings. Back in 2001 I started to ask what would happen to Jews who are repatriated to Israel.
But it was only as a result of my own agony that I started searching for the truth. So I have been
involved in this search now for all of five years. It was very, very difficult, an extremely painful
path."
Now Ms. Weitzel has documented her experience of the "Israel Movement" and
made it available to the public at Immanuel.at, in the hope of protecting other brethren, if
possible, from suffering the same kind of damage.
- Was the vision of Steve Lightle in 1974 a mandate given by Jesus
to us, the congregation?
- To what extent is it true that Jesus, the Son of God, gave his
congregation the mandate of bringing Jews to Israel?
- So what becomes of the mandate of the LORD to the congregation in Mk
16,15 ‒ "Preach the gospel to all creation"?
- How was it possible for a Christian political movement to come into
existence which acts on the basis of the Old Testament?
- Is the aliyah from the land of the north
(Russia) to Israel directed by the
Holy Spirit? ‒ Or is it a spirit of temptation?
- To what extent have Christians misinterpreted the Word of God, and so
taken on a burden of sin? (unconsciously, because they have been deceived).
These provocative but necessary questions call for the most urgent investigation.
(As Immanuel Kant says, "Have the courage to make use of your understanding.")
Was it possible for us to be spiritually led astray because it all arose from the
guilt that had been laid on us as Christians, and especially on Germany as a nation, for the
Holocaust? Is it possible that we ‒ as a form of restitution for our past ‒ are
obliged to help the Jewish people in this way to build up Israel and bring the Jews to the land of
Israel? That we as Christians are quite particularly obliged to help them now and at last, so
that they may never again get into a situation like that of the Third Reich? That we have to bring
them to the "safe port of Israel" because "that is what Scripture says"? Or have we all
allowed ourselves to be deceived? Have we all been obsessed with a mass temptation of the Last Days,
with devastating consequences for us all? For the Near East and the whole world.
The truth is shocking, it has upset me deeply, but it is imperative that we should begin to
understand, for the sake of JESUS and for the salvation of humanity worldwide. My doubts began after
my last trip to Poland. It started in 2002, when the Spirit of God urgently tried to make clear to
us that this vision of 1974 did not emanate from His Spirit. But I didn’t understand it
properly, I was still convinced that we just had to bring Jews to Israel. That was the message of
the Israel Movement after all, to us and all over the world. It was all written in the Word of God,
they told us. But perhaps it wasn’t?
So I did not hesitate to communicate to the leaders of the organization what I thought the Spirit of
God was saying to us. That is to say I already made efforts, in 2002 and in 2006, to communicate the
truth to the leaders of these organizations in Germany. They turned a deaf ear and didn’t want to
hear me. Now I am no longer trying to talk to these organizational leaders ‒ with the help of
God I have found a different path for starting an alarm call, for all those who hear it and want to
convert! What is going on in the world with reference to Israel and its right to exist is not
biblical, even though it has been explained and "taught" to us for many years. How can I make an
assertion like this? After years of searching for the truth and trying to free myself from this
religious spirit in relation to the false Israel doctrine, which has penetrated the congregation to
an unbelievable degree, I am free to speak out.
I am German, and for this very reason I do not want to hold back any more, as otherwise I would be
laying a burden on my conscience in relation to my promise to God and his Word. As a German and as a
Christian woman I feel obliged to bring "light into darkness", with help from without, with the
support of many spiritual men of God!
Our trips to Poland and Auschwitz over a period of four years were the significant
influence on my thinking for the last 18 years. Never again a Holocaust. Never again silence from
Christians in the face of such a terrible past.
With all that I had and all that I am, I tried to launch "preventive actions" in case of a
renewed persecution of Jewish people in the Near East, Germany and Europe. This was not acceptable,
it seems to the enemy of God, as he tried to destroy my life. But the victor is JESUS, the Christ!
And what was inconceivable for me happened, at last, after immense personal losses ‒ I had
understood that the flesh brings forth flesh, and the spirit the spirit! It is a mingling of the
spirits that brings us into confusion.
The Israel Movement is a political movement which unfortunately cannot comply with
the mandate given us by our LORD in Mk 16:15, as otherwise it would have to change the entire
structure it has built up. A structure based on following a certain political direction, instead of
taking on board the missionary mandate which Jesus gave us in his Word. That is to say, they would
have to abandon politics and preach the gospel to those people in Israel with whom they are
currently working hand in hand.
So here they are in a dilemma. Either the gospel for Jews and Gentiles, as Jesus teaches us, or
political work, which supports the secular state, which stands under the Judgment of God.
They are building flesh by flesh, and not in the spirit of God. A blessed brother on a mission
assignment to Israel has spoken out in public:
"There are Christians who are only concerned with the human issues of
the Jews and so fail to preach the message of the gospel. ‒ That, now, is real
anti-Semitism!"
A conversion of the movement and abandonment of their political activities,
including global politics, would be a trial by fire for the movement. Shouldn’t they just let that
go to their hearts and think about it?
What I am writing about here is something that years ago I only saw from a distance
and in a blur. But I always asked myself what actually happened in our Germany in relation to
Israel. But as I said, we were not yet in a position to understand things properly. It took me more
than six years before I was able to look "behind the fa’ade" of the religious direction of the
movement. Please don’t misunderstand me ‒ I value and respect every individual person who is
active in this movement, but they have consented to having the wool pulled over their eyes and I
wish with all my heart that they would begin to understand.
But the decision rests with them, whether to do it or not. So the most important thing for us is to
recognize the truth in the spirit of Christ and in this spirit to pray for the liberation and
salvation of people, so that those who have been led astray may get back into the proper
relationship and balance in relation to their creator. That is to say, to him who gave his life for
the redemption of guilt and sin. CHRIST the way, the truth and the life. It is a matter of
turning again to the SON OF GOD, JESUS the CHRIST, the MESSIAH and his Word. HE is the one they need
to listen to. May the movement realize this.
Jesus said in his discourse on the Mount of Olives, "See to it that no one
misleads you" (Matt 24:3-4) The disciples asked Jesus, after he had been talking about the
destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, "Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be
the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" (Matt 24,3). This was the disciples’
question. "See to it that no one misleads you". Being led astray is the worst thing that
can happen to a person, most of all when it comes under the guise of religion. It looks so good and
one does believe it, but when we look more closely, it leads to destruction.
Jesus Christ released us from "religion". On the cross at Golgotha HE tore down the wall of
separation between Jews and Gentiles ‒ the wall that had been built up by religion was
destroyed by the Son of God.
Many years ago, after I had come to believe in the one true God, my way took me into
a group of "Friends of Israel", a prayer group for Israel. There I was confronted with this
theme for the first time. As a young Christian woman I listened with attention, and gradually came
to understand what was being "taught" on the subject of Israel.
What they taught us was this: it is our guilt for the holocaust of the Jews, as Germans,
which now makes it imperative that we as Christians in Germany should finally stand by Israel and
the Jewish people. We were guilty after all of the murder of millions of Jews, so how should we not
support them now? The pressure on Christians was increased ‒ "we are guilty", now
we must help them ‒ that was and is the basic idea of this doctrine. Plus the fact that God
wants to have them in Israel. But is that really our mandate? In every possible way they tried over
and over again to demonstrate to us, in the light of documents, that it is an open and shut case,
that the land belongs to the Jews. But millions of documents can be written and signed, they only
have validity when they are founded on the truth and in the truth ‒ that is, in accordance
with the will of GOD. Then it makes a claim in law, when God says so.
But as we know, in emerging from this catastrophic situation of the Third Reich the nation of Israel
was founded. A completely correct idea in human terms, in such a desperate situation. It was the
community of nations ‒ the UN ‒ that finally resolved to give the Jewish people a
homeland. In Christian circles people said that it was the will of God, they appealed to Isaiah 66:8
and so ratified the foundation of the state from the Christian side. A fatal error? At last a
country for themselves. The land of their forefathers which God had promised to them, to the
forefathers. This was the place they wanted to have, which they should have. After an endless
odyssey and an unbelievable annihilation of their people, for years that had lasted forever. And now
finally, a home!
To come back to the prayer group ‒ there, in this prayer group for Israel, I
then heard of a vision for Germany and Israel which God had given to a man – Steve Lightle
‒ in the year 1974, and I also heard of the right of Israel to its land. People repeatedly
demonstrated and explained to me that Israel now finally lives again, out of the "ashes of the
holocaust". But does Israel live, as the Israel movements demonstrate and proclaim? Does it really
live? Does it really live? Or does it struggle for its survival from day to day? Does it acknowledge
its God yet? Or is the veil still over their eyes and their heart? (2Cor 3:15-16)? What is life, in
the eyes of born again Christians? Actually a spiritual home, at least that is what Scripture says.
So does this nation of Israel really live?
Since Israel was founded, its governments have been declaring to us and to the world
that they have a God-given right to their land. They tell us that they have recovered this land
because God has given it to them. But have they fulfilled the preconditions which God set them for
the reoccupation of their land? For only in that case would they have a God-given right to that for
which they want us to pledge our support. if these conditions are not fulfilled, then automatically
HIS Word will again start to apply, in such a way that a judgment of God will again be passed on
Israel. For without an invitation from God and the fulfillment of the appropriate preconditions they
are not entitled to take this land.
Sadly this is so, but GOD is GOD. God is bound by His Word. I.e. if Israel defends its right to its
land, with weapons and blood, God’s Word will direct this to the purpose for which he has sent it.
Unjustified occupation of a country, because God will not bring them to their land by weapons and
blood. Look it up in the Word of God (Hos 1:5-7). It was always like this, that Israel only received
the right from God to return to its land if God had decided it. They never dared simply to occupy
the country. Only in answer to God’s bidding, and then too only in order to build a temple. This
last temple, though, was then destroyed by HIM in person in the year 70, after Jesus was crucified
and they had rejected the Son of God who came to redeem them. Since then there has no longer been
any temple, and we only have to do with the spiritual temple, which is JESUS himself! God does not dwell
in a house built by human hands, either now, or at that time or in future.
In Christian circles it has been preached, over and over again, that this land belongs to Israel.
But this overlooks the fact that these promises of God to Israel have their allotted time of
fulfillment. And this time is not our time but the Millennium, at the end of time. So it will happen
in the way God has said, and not as Christians determine! We should have left the Jews among the
nations, we weren’t supposed to bring them to Israel! At no time! But people try all they can to
prop up human works, though it will lead to a disaster, seeing that God’s Word remains valid
whether we believe it or not. We can never change God’s will with our own powers.
So the question remains ‒ do we put the word of man above the Word of God?? Even if God will
in future keep his word about Jerusalem and Israel because they go their own paths, cut off from God
(read about this in Joel, Zech), we must ask ourselves ‒ to what extent have we made ourselves
guilty of the coming dilemma, most of all if we now keep silence? What would it be like if history
should now just have to be repeated, because Jews and Christians go their own way and do not listen
to God? If the past again becomes the future? If it has to be repeated so that God can reveal
himself as the GOD who HE IS?
Has the congregation failed in its mandate to preach the gospel to Jews and
Gentiles, and is it now responsible for this before God? What if history has to be repeated once
more, so that the mandate to the congregation can finally be fulfilled after all? The congregation,
a mystery of God!
When I came to believe in Christ in the year 1987, a few years went by and then I
took part in a campaign of fasting and prayer for Israel. At this time a prayer initiative was
launched and a document signed at the Wannsee Villa, with my signature on it as well, in which we
promised to serve the people of God. I still feel obliged by this promise in the eyes of God up to
the present day, and I will keep it if God wills and if I live. But how?
Now at last, years later, as it is stated in the Word of God and as Jesus taught us! At that time I
was unable to see that this document would develop into a paper amounting to a political mandate.
Only now has this become clear to me. But as I placed my signature to it, I would like to state in
public here and now: what matters to me is that I should carry out the mandate in such a way that
all people, Jews and Gentiles alike, shall be told of the hope and the eternal love that came to us
in the form of the Son of God, that the gospel shall be explained to them and their attention
directed to the coming kingdom of the LORD! This after all is what Jesus wants, that they shall
be saved from the coming Wrath of God!! That we should not be silent any longer. That we should
support Israel, but in a spiritual sense ‒ namely by telling them who their GOD is! Don’t
get involved in political activities which will only lead to ruin!!
At all events I didn’t see things a few years ago the way I do now, as we were always told back
then that we weren’t to "preach" to the Jews. It has taken years for me to develop a viewpoint
which was not clear to me at the time, because I too was confused and led astray. If we do not see
and recognize with the spiritual eye what Jesus has said that we must do, then we are building up
works of the flesh and they will not lead us to eternity.
A mass murder of human beings, of the kind that took place in the Third Reich,
should be condemned in the severest way possible, that is a thing I must expressly emphasize here.
It is a despicable form of action in contempt of humanity, which will certainly be judged by God in
eternity with the utmost severity and about which no one should remain silent. You cannot remain
silent about any shedding of innocent blood!
But if, now, the processing and working off of the past is able or has been able to give rise to a
Christian movement that is being led in the wrong direction, one that acts on the basis of human
judgments and not in accordance with God’s instructions, then it is capable of leading to the
repetition of terrible circumstances in a way that is not and has not been intended! In view of the
fact that the ground is being prepared for the coming war in the Middle East, which will cost
millions of people their lives, not just physically but psychologically as well and above all in
terms of eternal life, I am convinced that there is no possibility any longer of exercising tact
towards religious sensibilities, which I am sorry about, but Jesus did say that he came to bring not
peace but a sword (Mt 10:34). This is the sword of the Spirit, HIS WORD, the sword that is to
separate joints and marrow, soul and spirit (Heb 4:12).
We have to do here with people in the grip of powers and authorities who rage in the heavenly places
with a view to taking over the dominion of the world, on the very place where the SON OF GOD lost
his life ‒ and the "congregation" even brings this Jews to the place where this battle is
going to take place? Jews and Arabs in the Near East in danger of life and limb and we just look on?
A world conflagration and we just look away? I can’t believe it and that is why I am writing this.
In the last four years I have studied what it says in the Word of God on the subject
of aliyah, "repatriation", and the founding of the state of Israel. I have been in touch
with a wide range of pastors and spiritual leaders, and I certainly haven’t had an easy time of
it. Everything is grace, and I pray that we may receive the grace of hearing and understanding
before it is too late!
Are Christians now really prepared, in view of their understanding of their services and visions, to
leave people ‒ in this case Jews, Arabs, and many other nationalities in the Near and Middle
East and even Christians worldwide ‒ to their fate, with death before their eyes? If a
conversion does not occur, a return to God’s mandate given to the congregation, these Christians
who have been falsely indoctrinated and are making an idol of this state of Israel are making
themselves guilty of the blood that will be shed. They were prepared to uproot people to bring them
to Israel "because God said so". Now they are prepared to leave them there, because they believe
that this is the way it should be?! (Aliyah!) Even in view of a coming war? They think it has to be!
What crazy ideas. Has the congregation been led astray completely?
The teachers of this movement think and preach that the congregation in any case won’t be around
any longer when all this happens. This is ultra-dispensationalism, which leaves the nation of Israel
to God’s judgment. At this time we already have been raptured...... Fatally so!!! Whether it is
really the way they think will become clear. But perhaps as the Body of Christ we may receive the
grace, actually as a result of this false manner of thinking, to tell the Jews about Jesus as has
not been done in past years. So that we may then enter the Time of Tribulation with them as
Christians, so as to stand by them among the nations of the world. And that there isn’t any escape
route by Rapture into heaven, not yet.

The above links are to two very helpful websites which will continue to concern us for some time in
future with the truths they provide. But see also the book by Steve Wohlberg, (End Time Delusions
‒ German version, Der Endzeitwahn, obtainable from K. Püplichhuisen). Even if I can’t
agree with everything in this book, at least it uncovers a number of things that are off course in
the Body of Christ. For example, those who hold by this false Israel doctrine think and believe that
GOD has told them to act in this way. They say that God wants to have them there, in Israel, the
Jews, and that they do not have a mandate from God to preach the gospel to them, the Jews, but
that they have only the task of bringing them back, doing an aliyah for them. And that they
are supposed to bring Jews from Russia and other nations to Israel so that Jesus can return. Where
is this written in the Word of God? Who has told us that and why? This is told us by well known
biblical teachers!?
It’s practically unbelievable that I was close to believing this myself, at the time, eight years
ago. People find a basis for this doctrine in a random string of scriptural verses and on that basis
explain and defend this repatriation effort! More than 1.5 million people have been brought to
Israel under the auspices of this statement that they should be fetched and brought (fishers and
hunters! Jer 16:16) to Israel, uprooted and fetched from their own country. People have been told
that God wants to have them there NOW! A confusion of biblical passages which can be absolutely
deadly, if GOD does not intervene! This is the same train of thought that Zionist men and women had
as well, when they took possession of the land at that time and founded the state. Completely
understandably, from a human point of view, if it were not for God’s WORD! But Israel as well is
committed to that, if they assert that the land belongs to them. "The land belongs to us, and
every Jew must come back to the land of his fathers, this is a gift to us from God.".
Yes, it is a gift to them from God, but under conditions which ‒ well, have they been
fulfilled? They don’t even yet have a temple to worship in. God destroyed the temple himself. That
is now twice as bad. Because the living temple that is JESUS CHRIST, this is something they still
reject. And can God be expected to keep silent and turn a blind eye about it? The Israel movement
has made itself guilty before God and man. These assertions are admittedly shocking, but I
really see it as a serious business to reveal the truth of these matters, because of the millions
of immigrants who have been denied the gospel because the Jewish state has required the
representatives of the Israel movement to sign a document to the effect that no one shall be allowed
to preach about Jesus!
THAT would be a repatriation of the kind that God wants: A repatriation to his kingdom, to his
eternal kingdom! A spiritual aliyah to the heavenly Jerusalem! But now they are in a place
determined by God for judgment, just as it is for the rest of the world, if they do not convert to
GOD and accept his SON as a gift for the forgiveness of sins. For God has included the whole world
in disobedience and the exit door is JESUS the Christ! But now??
Just imagine the following: if this Christian movement for the "repatriation of the Jews
from the land of the north" (the aliyah) ‒ there in this nation of Russia, or in all
the nations where they have gone to fetch Jews ‒ if they had preached the gospel there instead!
What a jubilation that would have been in heaven! What a life emerging from the dead! What an
awakening that would have been! Imagine these awakened people had then remained in their country,
and had in their turn preached the gospel of the Son of God!! Unimaginable what might then have
happened!
Instead of this, people indicated that they were to go to Israel. Is this a spirit from the Son of
God? Now we have a dilemma!!! We have failed. Why am I so committed to this issue? I would just like
to make it clear that I am not writing just for the sake of it, my life has been dedicated to the
Jewish people and still is today. But not in political terms ‒ rather in accordance with the
Word of the Bible. So I will just say a little bit about myself.
Our path at that time, for Israel and Germany, was always influenced by repentance
on account of our failure as Christians in the Third Reich. Our path took us not to Israel, but to
Poland, back into the past of our guilt for the holocaust as Christians and as an entire nation. We
stood many times at the place that has become notorious worldwide for the inconceivable cruelty of
manto man ‒ Auschwitz. And we visited all the other extermination camps as well. We performed
this service over a period of four years, and I and the other participants were thinking over and
over, Never again, never again can German Christians remain silent in face of another holocaust.
Never again can Germany, and German Christians in particular, be involved by turning a blind eye, if
once again such a thing should come upon the Jewish people.
We were deeply shaken and outraged, repeatedly, about everything that we saw and heard there in
Poland. Every trip was a stab in the heart about our failure. But it also strengthened our heart in
the resolution that in future we would stand up for the Jewish people. And that was what we did.
Many of us took on a mission of service to Israel and the Jewish people. Then too we held a
conference in Warsaw in 2001, a Conference of Repentance on the subject "Israel and the
congregation". Our teacher was Arthur Katz, who already at that time referred to the aliyah
idea and told us that we mustn’t bring any Jews to Israel. How right he was, but we were so
totally convinced that this was what we must do, that we didn’t want to "hear" him at all. But
it was the will of God. Mr. Katz warned us of the coming war and the destruction of the country and
that many people would be reduced to great and abject misery. So ‒ no involvement of
Christians in an Aliyah.
But he wasn’t the only one, many other biblical teachers said the same thing. They
warned us not to bring Jews to Israel. People didn’t listen to them. How urgently Mr. Katz taught
us at that time that Israel would still experience bad things before it could come to spiritual
life. For that is God’s way with the flesh: circumcision. God is spirit and only what comes from
his spirit can live for ever! That after all is what we want as Christians: to bring people to life,
to eternal life. That is the mandate of the LORD to the congregation: "Preach the gospel to the
whole world"!
After this blessed conference we felt that we had to hold our next conference in Germany. It was
about the German past on the one hand, and the tacitly consenting church on the other. A church that
had subordinated itself to this "dominion", with just a few exceptions! This conference was held
in Bad Harzburg. Followed by another conference in Braunschweig in 2001, where many Christians from
Europe came together to ask God for forgiveness for our nation and for all that was allowed to
happen under Hitler and the silent church. At that time people said nothing and failed to carry out
the mandate that Jesus gave to his congregation. That shouldn’t be allowed to happen again. That
was our promise.
And now? All this was the deepest desire of our heart, and God blessed our efforts,
or so we believed. But the thing that we kept coming back to was the continuing investigation into
the vision which Steve Lightle had in Braunschweig in 1974, out of which there then came an
organization for the worldwide mass repatriation of Jews to Israel. An organization which set up
many branches and had a global reach. It took me many long years before I understood. The connection
with this spirit was so immensely strong, and our thinking about Israel was so strongly influenced,
who could have failed to believe that God wanted the things that had been seen in this vision?
A vision which we now believe was not and is not from God! If we suppose it to have been from
God, then it was understood wrongly and a premature repatriation took place, which GOD will actually
initiate HIMSELF and so they have all made themselves guilty! Even Steve Lightle, who as we
know wrote the book "Operation Exodus II" after he had experienced his vision, writes in his
book that no name and no organization should put itself at the head of this "exodus". It is to
be a holy exodus, he says. But if that is what he said, why does his name appear everywhere, along
with the names of the organizations founded accordingly?? Did people not take God seriously, and
detract from his honor?
If we are to suppose that this vision was at all correct, then perhaps what he saw was the final
repatriation (in the Millennium), but then he would not have seen Germany divided, as he describes
it. It is a riddle. To what extent then has sin been committed before God and man? Now above all, in
view of the possibly imminent war? We cannot hold up this war, not even with the documents that "testify"
that this country belongs to Israel. This land belongs to GOD and he will judge those who divide it,
whoever they may be! It will lead to war and perhaps the war may even be won, but what happens after
that we will have to see.
Have these leaders and organizations pre-empted God by spending millions in Christian funding in
order to finance a movement which then proceeded to set up a kingdom of its own? Bypassing the will
of God? A political kingdom that does not belong to God’s kingdom? Then would it be time for
conversion or not?? Millions of euros and dollars have been spent just in order to bring people to
Israel, and now again millions are being shelled out to support these people there in the country,
because the state can’t or doesn’t want to help them.
What is this? Is this really what God wants? People tell us, as well, that we must bring the Jewish
people back to their land so that Jesus can return, but don’t forget to add that the Christians,
in any case, are going to be raptured and then God is again dealing with Israel and then... just
with them? The congregation after all is OK! What kind of thinking is this? Would this kind of
thinking be successful? So what is behind it? This is something we really have to ask. An honest
study of the Word will surely put us in a position where we can understand the whole truth!
Undoubtedly this is going to lead to an uproar, but precisely that is the challenge
we must face as the congregation and the Body of Christ, before being confronted with another
disaster and THEN having to do penance before God and man for the wrongs we have committed!
As I said, at the time we believed that we should belong to this Israel movement, we wanted to help
support the state of Israel as well. It all looked so right and proper. We promised God that we
wanted to stand by the Jewish people, as Christians in any case. So that was why we formed a
society, we thought it would give us a better basis for action. But the LORD thought differently, he
ordained a time for the circumcision of our ideas and our thinking and willing. It was painful and
cost us many losses. But out of this comes the life that is from God, that comes from CHRIST and his
Spirit. Eternal life.
With the idea of trying to help the Jews, and always having Auschwitz in mind, I
embarked on a hazardous enterprise. I was reading a lot in the Word of God about the Last Days, and
now I heard about a persecution of the Jews in the Near East. I flew there to carry out preventive
measures if that was where they would have to find accommodation. During this time of "preparations"
I came to know the spirit of Islam, which will also be poured out on Israel and the Jewish people in
the future. I came to love and value these people in the Arab countries, their religion however is
not a religion of freedom but one of subordination and servitude, which lets itself be led by
deception and malice and which bears on its banner the statement that Jews and Christians should be
killed.
For this we must all be prepared, both Jews and Christians. After my odyssey in Arab countries, I
started to ask God, in the depth of my heart, about the "Why". How could such a misfortune have
happened to me? How could I have believed that it was from God, what I experienced there in Jordan?
It took me a long time to work through these traumatic experiences and events. I couldn’t grasp
what I had lived through. I had the impression day in, day out that I was living through a nightmare
that was never going to come to an end! Jesus was so kind as to make clear to me, bit by bit, why
this happened: only because I was subjecting myself to this false spirit, a religious spirit that is
so subtle that if we are not careful, we are unable to recognize the truth!
This was the only way in which I could be led so astray, and it was only my state of mind and way of
thinking that made it possible for me to be led in the wrong direction by this religious spirit!
Immense damage was done, but I trust in my God and believe that he is able to make glory out of
chaos. So we too should convert and return to what the Word of God says to us. If we do not draw
proper distinctions, we are surely programmed in advance to go astray and it will cost human lives! That
is what Jesus warned us about.
It is time that we should really understand where this can take us. It is high time. A false
connection can be so strong, when one believes it is from GOD and actually it is the spirit of
temptation! The devil appears as an angel of light. It took me years before I finally understood. Our
mandate from Jesus, the Son of God, is: "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all
creation!" (Mk 16:15). So if this Israel movement in Germany and Europe has opened itself up
and given itself over to this false spirit, as it has done massively in the USA, they have made
themselves a "golden calf" as a result, because they think that this is from God. And so as a
result of this fatal political influence which Christians exercise on governments, a third world war
may be triggered and CHRISTIANS will be partly RESPONSIBLE! Guilty of having interpreted the
Word of God incorrectly and so having acted incorrectly. A world conflagration with the help of the
Christians????
So we must really seriously seek the LORD and pray that HE may grant disengagement with a view to
CONVERSION! If not, is it possible that with the help of "well intentioned Christians" who
influence governments and even call for war "to get rid of Israel’s enemies", Christians may
again be guilty of the next holocaust? Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world". He NEVER
called for war, but came with the sword of the Spirit which is his Word. HE came to save and to
redeem and to heal, right up till now!!! This is what he still wants to go on doing, through you and
me!
When Luther joined the Schmalkaldic League, which was a political alliance to guarantee the "security"
that he needed in order to stand against the Catholic church and its doctrine, years of "self
defense" eventually led to the Schmalkaldic War. What do we want and what is God’s will? We call
on people to seek God’s face and to study his Word in truth.
When the Jew Mordecai saw and heard that there were plans to kill the Jews in 127 provinces, he
stood up and lamented and wept bitterly for it and said to Esther:
Do not imagine that you in the king’s palace can escape any more than all the Jews.
Est 4,13 Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, "Do not
imagine that you in the king’s palace can escape any more than all the Jews. 4,14 "For if
you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place
and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained
royalty for such a time as this?" Est 4,13-14;
"For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the
Jews from another place and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you
have not attained royalty for such a time as this?" We are kings and priests in the house of the
LORD, Jesus is our KING and HE calls on us to hear and to act. It is a matter of the spiritual
fetching home of the Jews and Gentiles and of His good will for us all. We have a mandate that
should lead to spiritual salvation for eternity ‒ Eph 6,12: "For our
struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness,
against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the places under the sky."
These powers are raging over Israel, and especially Jerusalem, to conquer it and set up their
dominion there. There, where the SON OF GOD conquered and conquered them, at the cross of Golgotha!
They want to demonstrate their power and yet are conquered. But they will do everything that is
offered to them for the purposes of deception, seduction and abuse for the fulfillment of their
purposes. For this reason it says ‒ Awake, sleeper, and rise from the dead (Eph 5:14)... Wake
up -----
Only because I was snared myself, because I was led astray by false doctrine and have then lived
through the purifying fire of God’s judgment, am I now in a position to speak about this. "Stand
firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of
righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace!" (Eph
6,14-15). ‒ Do not be deceived: what men sow, that they will reap...
The man who practices the righteousness which is based on law shall live.
Rom 10,5 For Moses writes that the man who practices the
righteousness which is based on law shall live by that righteousness. Rom 10, 5;
This is something that the Israel of today is no longer capable of, it cannot any
longer live in that way, as it cannot any longer keep the commandments of God since there is no
temple and no sacrifices can be offered. So they do not have any life either, we have to understand
that. Israel cannot any longer keep the laws and commandments that God gave them, because JESUS is
the sacrifice, but this is something they reject.
The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.
Rom 10,6 But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows:
"Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down),
10,7 or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead)."
10,8 But what does it say? "The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart"‒that
is, the word of faith which we are preaching. Rom 10, 6- 8;
"The Word" here is the message of faith, which we are preaching.
Whoever will call on the name of the LORD will be saved.
Rom 10,9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe
in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10,10 for with the heart a
person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in
salvation. 10,11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed."
10,12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all,
abounding in riches for all who call on Him; 10,13 for "Whoever will call on the name of
the LORD will be saved." Rom 10,9-13;
Essential conditions for being able to receive the gospel are:
Rom 10,14 How then
o will they call on Him in whom they have not believed?
o believe in Him whom they have not heard?
o And how will they hear without a preacher?
o 10,15 How will they preach unless they are sent? Rom 10,14-15;
And just that, after all, has actually happened, for we find it written in
Scripture: "How lovely are the feet of him who brings good news!" (Isa 52,7). This means that
God has entrusted this message to us as Christians, and it is the only good news that saves people,
that brings eternal life! Every Christian is a messenger of God, a disciple of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
Jesus said to his disciples: "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation ...!"
(Mk 16,15). So how can the leaders of these organizations say that they "only have the mandate of
bringing the Jews to Israel"? Who has told them this? They have acted against the Word of the LORD
and so neglected the mandate. It goes on, in the letter to the Romans:
For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
Rom 11,13 But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Inasmuch
then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, 11,14 if somehow I might move to
jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them. 11,15 For if their rejection is the
reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? Rom 11,13-15;
Should the Israel movement have done this, when they went out among the nations to
find Jewish people and bring them to Israel?? Should they have brought to them "the glory of the
gospel"? Should they be the bearer of good news (Isa 40:9)? We believe, with great certainty, that
the determination of the Christian aliyah to bring Jewish people from Russia and all over the world
to Israel cannot possibly be from God. If Israel founded a nation of Israel so as finally to have a
state of its own once more, and fetched its people back to give them a home there, a Jewish one,
that was Israel’s decision. A decision for which they will have to answer to God on their sole
responsibility. But to say that we as Christians have been commissioned to bring Jewish people to
Israel is a lie.
If as a result the Son of God, the only one who can give them life, has to be denied as well, then
we must ask God urgently to open our spiritual eyes. We have been led astray, that is something we
can assert here with certainty..
Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ?
1Jn 2,22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the
Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the
Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. 1Jn 2,22-23;
"The mandate and the concern of the Holy Spirit is to work towards Jesus, to draw people and lead people to him. It is the Holy Spirit who reveals the future and thus today addresses an urgent appeal to humanity, to accept grace and come to Jesus to be saved before it is too late!" (extract from Mitternachtsruf [Midnight Call]) |
But what have the Christian organizations done who are making this aliyah??? They
have denied Jesus. Can it then be the Holy Spirit who has been leading this movement? Is it a spirit
of Antichrist? If we can believe John, then that is the case.
Steve Lightle, the American from Seattle, Washington, "saw" Jews coming from Russia and
he "saw" that they passed through Poland and Germany and we should bring them to Israel. He also
stressed very strongly that if we failed to do this, just because of our German past, GOD would
annihilate our country. He spoke of the fact that God had talked to him about this and compared our
German history with the Book of Obadiah! He filled us with terror as he did all those who heard him.
Again this "You are guilty", now you must help the Jews and Israel.
If we were to help them anyway as Christians and give them our support, that is a perfectly normal
state of affairs ‒ but that a nation should then be immediately judged if we fail to do it,
that does make you think a bit. Because we aren’t supposed to tell them about Jesus, but were only
permitted to say to them that God wants to have them in Israel. Is the sacrifice of the Son of God
so trampled underfoot that people expect of us that we shall not be allowed to bring the good news?
So we ask the leaders of all these organizations in the name of our LORD and Savior to stop this
aliyah! I demand, as a Christian and a German, that this Christian aliyah be discontinued forthwith,
as it is not in keeping with the will of God! It is from the Father of Lies, and GOD will seriously
take steps against it if we do not convert! I pray to the LORD that we may set out to seek HIM for
the truth that comes from His Spirit.
The following letter to Dr. Jürgen Bühler, Chairman of the German branch of
ICEJ (International Christian Embassy Jerusalem) and of "Christen an der Seite Israels e.V" ["Christians
in Support of Israel, Regd. Assn."] was composed by the responsible head of "Internationales
Netzwerk der Versöhnung e.V." ["International Network of Reconciliation"], Hannelore Weitzel.
Ms. Weitzel was herself involved with the Israel movement years ago, and has now realized that that
Israel’s Zionistic politics is furthering immigration of Jews from all over the world – an
immigration paid for by Christians – in order to increase its own population, and so counter the
rapid population growth of the Palestinians in Israel. She writes as follows:
"I was deeply convinced myself at the time that Israel was the only place where God wanted to have
the Jews so that HE could save them. That the land of Israel was the only place for them to live,
because Israel has a claim to it (a biblical claim, be it said), and that Jesus could ONLY save them
there and that Israel was the only place where HE would do it. This, after all, was what we had been
told, this was what we had been taught based on Old Testament scriptures from Isaiah and other books
of holy scripture. Only as a result of a drastic loss in my own life and thanks to the grace of GOD
did I finally understand – as a result of my own research over the years into the Word of God,
with a great deal of effort and ONLY through the help of various wonderful brethren and biblical
teachers – the nature of this deception of the Last Days that has taken place in the congregation.
Unless we understand this and convert, there will be a disaster which we will never be able to
recover from! GOD be gracious to us. -- H. Weitzel".
Dear Mr. Bühler1),
Today I again received your journal with all the information you are always issuing about the
things that are happening in the work you do.
The thing motivating me to write to you today is the following:
"The Jewish Agency2)
has requested ICEJ to support the repatriation of the last Ethiopian Jews."
For some years this aliyah3) from
the Christian side has been a considerable burden on my heart, on my conscience. In the years
1997 to 2002 it was our task to start a work of reconciliation in Poland, in order to bring
before God the complicit guilt of Christians in remaining silent about the holocaust in the
Third Reich. We were able to hold penitential conferences on this theme in Poland and in
Germany. We promised to God that we would never again keep silent if we were to see that
something like this could recur.
We are still committed to this promise. We also thought at the time that Jews should be brought
to Israel. We "believed" in the "vision" of Steve Lightle4)!
We thought we were only permitted to "conduct a dialog" with the Jews – that was what
people told us. But then all at once GOD spoke! What we did not know at that time, in the
years from 1997 to 2001, was that Operation Exodus, Exodus, and many others including your own
organization had been obliged to sign a contractual agreement with the state of Israel, or with
the Jewish Agency, involving the promise NOT to say anything about JESUS CHRIST!
So they were only able to do this work, and are able to continue it today, because they have
been obliged to leave the SON OF GOD out of the picture. With this "contractual alliance",
an accommodation with the state of Israel which involves meeting its demands, you and they have
clearly invalidated the great commission given to the congregation by JESUS CHRIST himself
(see Mat 28:18-20).
An alliance has been entered into which lies outside the gospel. An alliance, a contract signed
with "death". Through this action the door has been closed on the gospel by the Christian
organizations and GOD spoke to us about it, saying that these people are now sitting in a "religious
trap"! These Jews have been brought by Christians to a country, without having heard from them
about their MESSIAH.
In the year 2001, after I and others had been privileged to work for more than four years in
Poland and Germany, on my last trip the Spirit of GOD showed me how the work of Operation Exodus
looks – and it looks as if Jews being brought to Israel by this Christian organization, and so
equally by the other organizations mentioned above, are in fact being brought into the judgment
of GOD! This was what I said at the time to the directors of Operation Exodus in Germany, and I
am saying it again now to you and your organization. I cannot any longer reconcile it with my
conscience before GOD if I do not let you know as well.
I am writing for one reason: if the above organizations have been obliged to sign these
agreements, then your organization has done so as well, otherwise you would not have permitted
to carry on any activities whatever in this direction! No Christian organization would have been
able to bring Jews to Israel from all over the world if they had said, "No, we will not
deny OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!" They had the choice! Israel is a state that aims to be
Jewish, that asserts its right that people there shall not be allowed to evangelize, but it is
willing to receive help from us as Christians for bringing Jewish people to the country.
We have done penance for the fact that the church kept silent when the Jews were deported, for
the fact that the church did NOT preach the gospel, for the forgiveness of sins. We have done
penance because Hitler was able to do such mischief to people of the Jewish faith. We have given
warning of the consequences of the present aliyah under the above circumstances. Now we no
longer wish to remain silent, because GOD still wants to give us time for penance and conversion
and is still able to do so, even with these mistaken courses to do with the aliyah.
You all know the Word of God and what it tells us, that as we sow, so shall we reap! If now the
Son of God has been rejected by Christian leaders, just for the sake of bringing Jews to Israel
in the past and in the present, we need to think seriously about the consequences. May the
LORD preserve us from a judgment for the rejection of his Son! – whatever the future may
hold in store.
One thing is certain: unless we convert from this error and do penance, if we do not understand
what has been perpetrated here and what it is likely to bring for people in Israel and the
entire Middle East, if we do not recognize what has really happened here on the spiritual plane,
we will still have to reckon with the spiritual consequences.
I am writing all this out of love for the Jews and for those who are organizing this aliyah! May
GOD yet give them grace to hear and to convert.
Sincerely,
Hannelore Weitzel,

Aliyah (the Hebrew word means "repatriation") – In many Christian congregations in
Germany the "Israel Movement" (Evangelical Christian Zionism) has succeeded in establishing
itself. This is an organization which has set itself the aim, under the auspices of a campaign known
as the "aliyah", of bringing Jews to Israel from Russia and other nations, with the help and
financial support of members of Christian congregations. In so doing they are responding to the call
of Steve Lightle (see here below).

Israel in the light of the Bible.Based on the Old Testament God has completely taken away his compassion from the house of
Israel (Hos 1:6). They are no longer his people (Hos 1:9). Only the house
of Judah will be saved by the Lord. Not by war, however, but by his Spirit
(Hos 1:7). And only in the Millennium, when the Son of God has entered on
his thousand years rule on earth (Hos 1:10; 2,18 Eze 34:25; Isa 2:4), will
the Lord once more accept Israel as his people (Hos 2:23; Jer 31:27-28). Based on the New Testament It is God’s will that we should listen to his Son (Mt 17:5). This same Son
of God has told us that anyone who rejects him rejects God as well (1Jn
2:23; Lk 10:16; Jn 5:22-23. 15:23). The people of Israel today deny the
Son of God and abuse him as an impostor and blasphemer. As a result of
this denial of the Son, Israel has also rejected the Father and so is a
God-less people. (Jn 8:24) |
The "Israel movement" in Germany has published the following open letter to the
German federal government. Even if this letter was originally addressed to the red/green coalition
government of Schröder and Fischer, the authors explicitly point out that it is also addressed to
all future governments, to all political parties, all members of parliament and parliamentary
candidates of parties represented in parliament.
https://www.deutschland-israel.de/download/offenerbrief-anzeige.pdf
In view of the fact that this letter only illuminates the objective situation ‒ especially the
biblical situation ‒ in a very one-sided way, we would like here to examine each of its seven
points and comment on them in brief in the interest of attaining some measure of objectivity.
As Christians of different confessions and as German citizens, in face of the
current debate about Germany’s relationship with Israel and anti-Semitism in Germany we take
up the following position:
1. Germany has a unique, historically conditioned responsibility in relation to the Jewish
people and the state of Israel. Any German government must take up this responsibility, on
the basis of a resolute and permanent commitment. So Germany cannot ever adopt a "neutral"
position in relation to Israel!
Against this background, the former leader of world Jewry ‒ the President of
the World Jewish Congress, Edgar M. Bronfman ‒ actually said to Lothar de Maiziere, former
Foreign Minister of the German Federal Republic on his inaugural visit to New York in September
1990: "It will be a terrible end for the Germans if future generations fail to keep up the
payments to Israel and to world Jewry; then the German people will vanish from the earth."
So if the Germans do not make payments to Israel, they are going to be annihilated. This and other
statements reveal the fascism that is behind Zionism.
2. Israel was created on 14 May 1948, legitimately and in accordance with the
law of nations, on the basis of the resolution of the League of Nations of 24 July 1922 (in its
turn based on the Balfour Declaration of 1917) and UN resolution 181 of 29 November 1947. We
call on the German government to do more than just unreservedly acknowledge Israel’s right to
exist, and to set itself resolutely against all forces in Germany and in the Near East which
call this right to existence in question either directly or indirectly.
As the following statement by Moishe Arie Friedmann, Chief Rabbi of the
Orthodox Jews remaining in the Diaspora in Vienna, makes clear, even Jews true to their faith reject
this Zionist state:
"With the Holocaust as a justification, the state of Israel was
founded by the use of force, which contradicts the will of God (Hos 1:7). As Jews true to our faith
we accept the fate of the Diaspora which God has laid upon us. But the founding of the state of
Israel has not just damaged the Jews on this religious plane; the means and the methods used by
Israel to secure its existence against the Palestinians damage all Jews world-wide, and encourage
the rebirth of anti-Semitism. For Jews true to their faith it is clear, however, that the
Diaspora is the fate laid upon us by God until the coming of the Messiah."
This was then commented on by Zionist Jews in France on an "Israel Forum", as
follows: "I know that there are shits everywhere, but the Jewish Orthodox congregation has more of
them than any other community. A pity that their numbers actually go on increasing."
https://forum.israelfr.com/discus/messages/19/9524.html?1099682277
This very tendency to "go on increasing" was deplored by Simon Wiesenthal, head of the
Jewish Documentation Center in Vienna, in a lecture to students in Zurich in 1969, though speaking
with reference to the new generation of Neo-Nazis in their mothers’ wombs(!).
"On 18 November 1969 Simon Wiesenthal gave a lecture to a packed
audience of Jewish students in Zurich on the ‘prosecution of Nazi criminals’. He
introduced his remarks by quoting a saying by Clausewitz, to the effect that the enemy of yesterday
remains the enemy of today and tomorrow, if he is not annihilated without trace... for tomorrow’s
murderers have only just been born today. The crucial thing is that these potential future murderers
should be eliminated right away here and now. Wiesenthal also gave his audience to understand that
Jewish high finance, especially in the USA and above all the capital resources of the Rothschilds
‒ for the past century the uncrowned kings of the Jews ‒ are being deliberately used in
order to eliminate in capital terms those states and ethnic groups which potentially contain Nazi
criminals. ’The essential thing’, Wiesenthal proclaimed in Zurich, ’is to annihilate
potential opponents even in the germ, yes, in the fetus state, annihilate them once and for all.’
"
("Salzburger Volksblatt", 23.1.1970, "Neue Zürcher Zeitung", 21.11.1969, also
in "Tat", the "Tagesanzeiger" Zürich and "Geburtswehen einer neuen
Welt" ["Birth Pangs of a New World’], p. 143)«
Who would Simon Wiesenthal have had his eye on, among his Jewish students? Medical
students perhaps, and future gynecologists and pediatricians? This is already very reminiscent of
the figure of the Jew Shylock in Shakespeare’s "The Merchant of Venice"!
3. Since its establishment as a state, Israel has been engaged in an open and
latent struggle for its existence. More than any other country, Israel has a right to self
defense and must protect its citizens against terror. We call on all political parties to
acknowledge this without any reservations! This does not mean automatically approving every
individual action taken by Israel without criticizing it. But Israel’s struggle with terrorism
should not be judged by any other standards than the international struggle with terrorism.
What is here euphemistically referred to as self defense was proclaimed by the
Chairman of the Emergency Council of European Rabbis, Rabbi Emmanuel Rabinovich, just four
years after the founding of the Israeli state. He spelt out Israel’s plans in a rather clearer
form, to the astonishment of the world community:
"Our final goal is to precipitate World War III, which will
surpass in destruction all previous contests. (...) This war will end for all time our struggle
against the Gentiles (…) and our race will rule undisputed over the world. (…) Our interests in
Washington are greatly extending the ‘Point-Four’-Program for developing industry in backward
areas of the world, so that after the industrial plants and cities of Europe and America are
destroyed by atomic warfare, the Whites can offer no resistance against the large masses of the
dark races, who will maintain an unchallenged technological superiority."
(See also the entire speech of Rabbi Rabinovich on the plans for the Jewish
rule over the world:
Rabbi Rabinovich’s speech on the Jewish rule over the
world.)
Since this "message" of Rabbi Rabinovich has gone all round the world and not a
single Israeli politician has distanced himself from it, we have to suppose that Israel wants to
unleash World War Three, if permitted to do so. And Rabbi Rabinovich also leaves no doubt that it
will be an atomic conflict, which will outdo all earlier wars in terms of destruction.
In this connection it is extremely interesting that of the four states which have still not signed
the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty of 1968, along with India, Pakistan and North Korea we find
Israel ‒ who still refuses to sign the treaty right up to the present day. The recently
approved UN Resolution 1987, which calls for a reduction of nuclear stockpiles, has likewise been
completely ignored by Israel. The background to this is the circumstance ‒ a circumstance very
well known in global politics, though not referred to in public ‒ that Israel has already
piled up two hundred atom bombs ready for action (no doubt for use in its struggle for survival??).
So Israel finds itself here in the company of states like North Korea (and as it is supposed, Iran
as well) who are producing atomic weapons illegally. On the other hand the Israelis complain that
the international community is too lenient towards Iran and its secret atomic weapons program, and
threaten to attack Iran themselves and bomb its uranium plants if the Americans fail to do it.
And last of all: if Christians then call in question the biblical passage in Isaiah (Is 66,8), with
which, as we know, Christians are fond of explaining and invoking the establishment of the state of
Israel, because when it is read in context it has to be explained in a different connection, do
these friends of Israel then attack those who base themselves by the Word of God? Is the Body of
Christ then "anti-Semitic" because that is how the friends of Israel want it to be? Are
Christians among those "powers" which are to be resolutely resisted? This is a question that
every individual reader will have to ask for himself or herself!
4. In view of our historic responsibility, we call on the present federal
government and future federal governments to act resolutely in support of Israel’s interests
within the EU and the UN! We are also fundamentally opposed to any form of German
involvement in sanctions, boycotts, military operations or any other measures whereby Israel is
to be curbed or put under pressure.
And this coming from the mouth of pastors and leaders of Christian congregations and
organizations? Israel is acknowledged as a nation by the law of nations. But should it then be
allowed to do whatever it likes? This would suit Israel down to the ground: the Germans are politely
requested to keep their mouths shut and not have the temerity to criticize any of Israel’s actions
or even to protest. So when Israel attacked Lebanon in 2006 (a completely unjustified war in which
thousands of civilians, including women and children, were killed in air attacks and whole cities
were destroyed), we did not hear any real protest from German politicians ‒ or from
politicians in other countries, for that matter.
One of the few voices raised in condemnation of this aggression by Israel was that of Chief Rabbi M.
A. Friedmann of Vienna:
"We have to do here on the one hand with a state the sovereignty of
which is being injured for no good reason, together with a Shiite resistance movement that has an
uncontrovertible right to exist, and on the other hand with the Zionist regime, which has no
right to exist either in biblical or in historical terms and has no legitimation whatever, either
based on the law of nations or in terms of the fundamental principles of our Jewish religion. We
pray and hope that it will not be long before true peace is realized in the Near East, above all in
the Holy Land. We pray too for an end to the shedding of the blood of innocent people, whether they
are Christians, Moslems or Jews. We pray for peace and justice in Lebanon, Baghdad, Tehran and the
whole of Palestine, with a Jerusalem that has been liberated from Zionism."
5. We condemn the tendency of some media and politicians to describe Israel
as the aggressor in the Near East and to see Palestinian terrorists as "activists" or "freedom
fighters". Israel’s military actions hitherto have been a reaction of self defense to
acts of aggression from without and from within, or have served to prevent further violence.
This should be shown in all clarity by our media and politicians.
Over the last 20 years or so Israel has developed to become the aggressor in the Near East. The Israelis clearly do not see themselves in Palestine as just one people among others, but as representatives of a master race destined to rule the world, as Yitzhak Shamir, Prime Minister of Israel from 1983 to 1984 and again from 1986 to 1992, made extremely plain in an interview with Newsweek on 11 April 1988:
"And looking down from the height of this mountain, and from the point
of view of our thousands of years of history, we say to you: Compared with us, you are like
grasshoppers."
And so we can also understand Ingo Goldberg when he writes in his book "Der
jüdische Messianismus" ["Jewish Messianism"]: "(…) Consequently the roots of
anti-Semitism do not lie in the enmity of the peoples, but rather in arrogance, in the master race
mentality of the Jews (Zionist Jews, FH) in relation to the other ‘lower’ races."
6. We call on all representatives of the people to return to the moral and
political consensus which has developed in the Federal Republic of Germany as a result of its
historic responsibility for National Socialist crimes. Anti-Semitism in Germany must be
opposed with all rigor! Anti-Semitic clichés should be regarded as altogether socially
unacceptable in Germany!
However much we may be inclined to agree with the statement that anti-Semitic
clichés should never again be regarded as socially acceptable ‒ either in Germany or in other
countries of the world ‒ all the same, the crimes of the Holocaust are here being used to
justify gagging an entire democratic state. And this on the one hand by people who never lived
through these horrors themselves and know of them only from hearsay, and on the other in support of
a Zionist state which would evidently like to unleash a third world war in order to obtain sole
world dominion. Zionism is a political ideology like Communism, Socialism or for that matter
Fascism. This was actually put into words by Joe Biden, Vice President of the USA and Barack
Obama’s deputy, when he observed: "You don’t have to be a Jew to become a Zionist." And just
in the same way, you can become a Communist without being Russian or a Fascist without being German!
7. We believe in what the Bible says in relation to Israel: "And I
will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse." (Gen, chapter 12
verse 3).
Here now is this verse in its context:
Now the LORD said to Abram, (...) in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.
Gen 12,1 Now the LORD said to Abram, "Go forth from your
country, And from your relatives And from your father’s house, To the land which I will show you;
12,2 And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you
shall be a blessing; 12,3 And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will
curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed." Gen 12, 1- 3;
Now as Paul writes in his letter to the Galatians, in Abraham God actually blessed
not the Jews but the Christians ‒ the children of the promise.
And you brethren, like Isaac, are children of promise.
Gal 4,22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the
bondwoman and one by the free woman. 4,23 But the son by the bondwoman was born according to the
flesh, and the son by the free woman through the promise. 4,24 This is allegorically speaking, for
these women are two covenants: one proceeding from Mount Sinai bearing children who are to be
slaves; she is Hagar. 4,25 Now this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present
Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children.
4,26 But the Jerusalem above is free; she is our mother. 4,27 For it is written, "Rejoice,
barren woman who does not bear; break forth and shout, you who are not in labor; for more numerous
are the children of the desolate than of the one who has a husband." 4,28 And you brethren,
like Isaac, are children of promise. 4,29 But as at that time he who was born according to the
flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so it is now also. 4,30 But what does the
Scripture say? "Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not
be an heir with the son of the free woman." 4,31 So then, brethren, we are not children
of a bondwoman, but of the free woman. Gal 4,22-31;
Whereas the Israel of today represents the children of the bondwomen born according
to the flesh, the Covenant of Mount Sinai. The Christians are the children born in accordance with
the promise, the children of the free woman and of the New Covenant in Jesus Christ. And as Paul
writes, the son of the bondwoman should not be an heir with the son of the free woman. As we can
see, the Israel movement is here appealing to a biblical text which according to Paul demonstrates
precisely the difference between the fleshly Jewry which has been rejected by God ‒ until the
Millennium ‒ and the children of the promise in Christendom.
And if we speak, in this connection, of the Bible and the New Covenant in Jesus Christ, then there
is one thing we shouldn’t forget: according to the Bible it was the Jewish scribes of the Jewish
Sanhedrin under the high priest Caiaphas, who condemned the Son of God, their Messiah and our Lord
Jesus Christ, to death with the help of false witnesses and had him put to death in agony on the
cross, because he told them the truth, that he was the Son of God.
But he had penetrated their deceit and revealed to them quite openly that they were the sons of the
devil.
You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father.
Jn 8,43 "Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because
you cannot hear My word. 8,44 "You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the
desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth
because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is
a liar and the father of lies. Jn 8,43-44;
And for this very reason, because they did not believe in the Son of God, this same
God to whom Israel goes on appealing to this day has rejected them ever since. For almost two
thousand years Israel has not had a temple or an altar or daily sacrifice, and so has not had the
forgiveness of sins, or any God any longer either. And this was also prophesied to them by the Son
of God back then:
Unless you believe that I am He (the Messiah) , you will die in your sins.
Jn 8,22 So the Jews were saying, "Surely He will not kill Himself,
will He, since He says, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come’?" 8,23 And He was saying to
them, "You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this
world. 8,24 "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe
that I am He, you will die in your sins." Jn 8,22-24;
Except for those who convert to Jesus Christ, the Jews have died in their sins right
up to the present day and have gone to damnation. In Christ they could have the daily sacrifice in
the vicarious sacrifice of the Son of God for all men. They could have the altar in their daily
prayer to their Father in heaven and the remission of their sins through this redeeming sacrifice of
their Lord. And they would have the temple in their spirit, where they then ‒ though sinners
‒ would be able to stand before their God as righteous having been justified through grace,
and pray to him and speak to him.
God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
Jn 4,23 "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true
worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be
His worshipers. 4,24 "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in
spirit and truth." Jn 4,23-24;
But because they denied the Son of God, saw him as an imposter and rejected him
‒ and continue to reject him to this day ‒ they have also lost God. They are a God-less
people
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.
1Jn 2,22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the
Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. 2,23 Whoever denies
the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. 1Jn
2,22-23;
This godlessness of Israel also explains why those organizations which bring Jews
from Russia to Israel in the "aliyah" have to sign an agreement that forbids them to preach
about Jesus Christ in Israel. So it is all the more astonishing that these organizations include
many Evangelical Christian congregations, who must be familiar with the Lord’s mandate to the
Christians of all time:
Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Mk 16,15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach
the gospel to all creation. 16,16 "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be
saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. Mk 16,15-16;
So if in ordinary cases it can be quite difficult and problematic to distinguish a
Christian of true belief from a merely nominal Christian, in this case there is no doubt: no "Christians"
who submit to a gagging order of this kind, and accept a contract with the state of Israel which
forbids them to carry out the highest and most important commission we have received as Christians
from our Lord ‒ the proclamation of the good news of salvation by grace ‒ can belong to
the Body of Christ.
So we can see that the biblical passage quoted by the Israel movement in their point 7 above (Gen
12,3) has also been stood on its head. This has not prevented the leaders of this movement from
claiming it for themselves and their purposes over many years. So the blessing in Abraham has been
falsified. God blessed Abraham’s obedience in FAITH, and this blessing extends through the
entirety of the Word of God until it issues in the New Covenant with JESUS CHRIST! That is the
blessing in Abraham whom GOD rewarded. It is faith in Jesus Christ ‒ not faith in Israel!

A Greek civil servant locomotive driver, it has recently become known to the astonished public, receives 5000 Euro per month for his death-defying service in the driver's cab of his engine, and that net. Admittedly, this is downright modest compared with Spanish air traffic controllers, who are allowed to take off with an average of 25,000 euros a month.
These and countless similar examples are not really conducive to inducing a frenzy of European solidarity among taxpayers in Germany or Austria and to popularizing the corresponding billion-euro payments to save these economic filous from bankruptcy. It is all the more remarkable how the former German chancellor Helmut Schmidt recently justified the necessity of such transfers of billions in the "Zeit": "If we Germans contributed considerably to the discord in Europe and in the world in the 19th century and in the first half of the 20th century, then in today’s situation we must contribute in a completely different way to ensuring that the horrors of the past cannot be repeated. To do so, further sacrifices of sovereignty and of money are called for."
This is basically the same argumentation that has been used for decades: because the Germans committed Auschwitz 70 years ago, they should pay
– and pay for just about everything in Europe that can’t take refuge in a tree in time. A business model that worked brilliantly for decades: The Germans collected about a zillion useful taxes in thousands of ways to be considered the "good Germans" and no longer as evil Nazis; the rest of Europe was happy about the never-ending flow of money from Bonn and later Berlin, with which Portuguese highways, Irish low taxes and southern Italian farmers were alimented.
And now there are the billion-euro rescue packages for the bankrupt states. It was and is basically the biggest sale of indulgences in the history of the world. This may have been justified to a certain extent in the period immediately after the Second World War. At the beginning of the second decade of the 21st century, however, such an argument – which is still put forward subcutaneously even at Brussels negotiations at the highest level – is rather obsolete.
First, because the German elites acting today, just like the German taxpayers milked today, bear no responsibility for Auschwitz and therefore cannot discharge this responsibility in billions.
Second, because the idea of being able to free oneself from any historical guilt with cash payments is in itself highly dubious (with the exception of payments to victims or their descendants).
Third, because it is not really understandable why and how the absurd privileges of a Greek locomotive driver should be alimented by the German or Austrian taxpayer in order to pay off the debt incurred in Auschwitz. The contribution of the Germans to peace in Europe, as called for by Schmidt, is being made excellently by the Germans, who have finally gotten out of the habit of regularly beating the heads of their neighbors. Germany, on the other hand, only has a reason to pay when it is in its national interest to do so. (Press, 12/31/2010)
